We have a long track record of building fixed and mobile networks for our service provider customers. In a world of stiff competition and ever-faster networks, Circet has become the number 1 European vendor for service providers.

Digital Inclusion

3,600 towns to be connected to super-fast broadband

With the Plan France Très Haut Débit (super-fast broadband plan for France), which aims to deploy very high-speed fixed networks nationwide by 2022, local authorities are playing a leading role. This is not just a godsend for our industry but also a tremendous boost in terms of employment and regional planning. The Plan France Très Haut Débit has earmarked €20 billion of public and private-sector investments over 10 years, by 2022.

Telecom service providers are ready to get down to the job in ‘private’ areas with the highest demographic density, covering 57% of the population. This zone, known as AMII, represents 10 million dwellings and 3,600 municipalities. After concentrating on high-density areas, service providers are now deploying very high-speed networks in lower-density areas.

Leveraging our strong portfolio of turnkey solutions, our company has a key position with telecom service providers. In France, fewer than ten or so companies provide optical fiber network engineering and construction services.

Fixed Networks

Copper & Cable: Safe Investments

Orange's copper network, and to a lesser extent SFR's cable network (Numericable) are still currently the main wireline access networks supporting telephony and the Internet. As a long-time business partner to these two companies, Circet can benefit from a substantial amount of daily business.

In France, as in many countries worldwide, copper and cable networks now appear to be ‘safe’ investments with their steady and profitable economic model. This is particularly important in a period when public and private-sector investment is picking up to transform or replace legacy networks with very high-speed networks.

In this context, we offer technical studies, works, operation and maintenance services. We provide volume services in voice exchanges and DSLAM installations, extensions and activations, which enable the DSL service to be delivered on copper lines.

Mobile Networks

4G/5G Deployment & Aggregation

With annual two-figure increase in the volume of data exchanged on mobile networks, the exponential growth in consumer demand for mobile Internet is clear to see. To face the challenge, service providers are deploying 4G and 5G technology, and are increasing the size of ‘pipes’ (enabling backbone transmissions) to offer higher speeds and a better end-user experience.

Year after year, mobile network activities are increasing for network vendors. With 4G, first. Each year, service providers in France are commissioning several thousand mobile equipment. In addition to this technology leap, the aggregation of SFR and Bouygues Telecom networks in low-density areas, and the deployment of Free Mobile’s network, keep our teams very busy.

More and more customers want to engage with Circet. As a result, we have implemented an organization and new tools to optimize our processes and productivity, and to be able to work independently on turnkey contracts. In just a few years, Circet has become a vital player in France in mobile networks, both for deployment and maintenance & operation.

We have what it takes to play a major role in shaping the future of mobile broadband: strong technical skills, a results-oriented company culture, and great branding. Our strong strategic positioning enables us to address tomorrow’s market challenges with confidence: continue to invest in 4G, enhance networks capacity to weather the data storm, and participate in the deployment of 5G, which will require more sites to handle billions of objects and terminals.
