Advent International becomes the principal shareholder of the Circet Group alongside its management.

On 26 April 2018, Advent International, a global leader in equity financing, finalized the acquisition of the Circet Group from CM CIC Investissement, ex-majority shareholder, and from Omnes Capital, the founders and managers of the company. Through this transaction, made jointly with Circet's Chairman Philippe Lamazou and his management team, the company embarks on a new stage in the development of telecoms services in France and Europe. The constantly increasing consumption of data, the large-scale deployment of fibre-optic networks and regular investment in mobile infrastructures represent unique opportunities underpinning Circet's ambitious growth plan.

Circet Chairman Philippe Lamazou states: “Circet's success since its creation has relied on the quality of our relations with our clients. In recent years we have broadened our field of expertise and diversified our clientele, both through organic growth and through targeted acquisitions in France. We are proud of the leading position we have managed to achieve in France with the aid of CM CIC Investissement, and I am convinced that with the backing of Advent, Circet will be even better placed to partner our clients in their European development projects. Advent's sector-specific expertise and its global presence will help us embark on a new growth phase backed up by Circet's current strengths”.
