Located on the Var coast between Hyères and Saint-Raphaël, the charming village of Saint-Tropez is well-known for its harbor, its huge yachts, its many up-market stores and crowds of tourists. Every summer, its population increases fourfold. To ensure protection and security, the local council decided to equip the town with a video surveillance system in 2011.
During the final call for tenders in 2014, the council awarded Circet a contract to deploy and maintain its video surveillance solution. Gilles Passis, the local council's IT Manager, explains their choice to us: “Circet's offer was technically fully compliant with our requirements and financially attractive, above all for maintenance.”
For several years now, our teams have been installing new equipment and maintaining Saint-Tropez's entire video surveillance system 24/7. Every year, fifteen or so new cameras are installed, “services delivered on time with a remarkable quality of work” says Gilles Passis. The Saint-Tropez system currently comprises 70 cameras of five different types.
