Since its beginnings, Circet has been operating in the telecommunications industry. Our company was built through the integration of recognized European businesses with a view to achieving our current position as the number 1 Network Service Provider in Europe.

1980

Pierre Bussinger created ETL, a small-sized company and subcontractor for French incumbent operator France Télécom.

1987

Paul-Henri Sapet created SN2T, a company dedicated to installing transmission equipment for France Télécom.

1993

SA Circet Group was created.

2004

Circet Group took over SNT, a company specialized in transmission systems.

2005

Circet Group took over NSM, a Mediterranean company specialized in copper networks.

2007

Circet Group took over the service division of equipment manufacturer ADC Inc., a company specialized in the deployment of telecom sites.

2007

Circet Group took over Airbox Technologies, a company dedicated to network engineering.

2008

Circet Group took over Kalliste Numérique, a Corsican company dedicated to rolling out telecom networks.

2008

Prothea became majority shareholder of Circet Group.

2009

Prothea, Circet Group's holding company, became Circet Développement.

2009

NSM became Circet Provence.

2010

Circet Group became the sole shareholder of Prothea's subsidiaries Omni Réseaux - renamed Circet Grand Ouest, Comares - renamed Circet Sud Est, and Epsilon Réseaux - renamed Circet Ile de France.

Kalliste Numérique and Circet Provence became wholly-owned subsidiaries of Circet Group.

Circet Group acquired Comexpress, a company based in France’s Ile de France region and dedicated to France Télécom's copper loop.

2011

Circet Group took over STA, a business based in Gerzat (in France’s Auvergne region) and dedicated to France Télécom's copper network management.

2013

Circet Group became Circet and celebrated its 20th anniversary.

Circet took over Camusat SAS, the Camusat group's French subsidiary, specialized in mobile networks.

2014

The two subsidiaries Comexpress - renamed Circet Ile de France Est, and Camusat France were integrated into Circet.

2015

Circet sold a share of its equity to CM-CIC Investissement, which became its majority shareholder.

2016

Circet took over Eritel and Soneg, further strengthening its footprint in the West of France.

2017

Circet took over the Capcom group, the Capecom group and TSA, consolidating business partnerships with telecom service providers and local authorities in Ile de France, in the East of France and overseas in Réunion and Mayotte.

2017

Circet took over oneSITU, a start-up company specialized in smart parking management.

2018

Advent International became principal shareholder of Circet alongside its management team.

2018

Circet Morocco was created in February and Circet Deutschland in June.

2018

In November, Circet finalized a merger with KN Group based in Ireland & UK to create a market leader in European telecom infrastructure services.

In December, Circet acquired Cableven based in Spain, gaining more traction in Europe.
